I get it that one aspect of being happy or getting happy is to be grateful for what you have. But, I think it is much more than that. Its a mindset of gratitude that provides a foundation for happiness.
Stop what you are doing right now (for a minute). Forget about what is going on around you. The world won’t stop turning for a short moment. Just be with yourself. If it is appropriate, wherever you are, or whatever you are doing in this moment . . . just be.
How much you are choosing the happy options? You may be surprised at the amount of room you have for improvement. Just get the ball rolling. One happy step leads to another and creates a snowball of positivity. You can control what you are doing, how you are feeling, and what you are thinking at this moment.
