You can begin by practicing for only 5-minutes a day and then gradually increase this amount of time as you gain more experience. Personally, I started meditation at bed time. It was time to easily set aside, and it helped me fall asleep easier.
All around us, people are worried. Practicing meditation can help a great deal. Once you learn simple methods of relaxing your mind, you can meditate anywhere. All you need to do is close your eyes, breathe deeply, and focus your mind on a calming word.
Stop what you are doing right now (for a minute). Forget about what is going on around you. The world won’t stop turning for a short moment. Just be with yourself. If it is appropriate, wherever you are, or whatever you are doing in this moment . . . just be.
